Yoke Apparels / Project Overview

Yoke Apparels is a made-to-order, slow fashion, handmade clothing brand; made from natural and high-quality fabrics. ‘Yoke’ is a sewing term, meaning “a strategically placed pattern piece that holds a vital role in garment construction. Typically found in the shoulder or waist area, yokes serve both functional and aesthetic purposes”. The brief for the branding was to be playful, fun, vibrant, and happy. The colours needed to be gender neutral and reminiscent of the pilbra, (where the client once lived.) The deliverables for the project were a full logo set, colour palette, typography set & brand pattern. The brand pattern is an abstract representation of pattern pieces.
